Plextor PX-608CU External DVD Burner
Tuesday, February 20th, 2007Plextor had announced recetnly their latest externalDVD burner called PX-068CU. According toPlextor it is speacially designed to work with Notebooksandhas some excellentfeatures along with duallayer DVD burning.
The key feature of the device is its designand size.According to Plextor it is pocket sized burner and you can carry along with your notebook in bag. Functionality wise it comes with DVD±R (8x), Double-layer and Dual-Layer (DL) DVD±R (4x), DVD-RAM (5x), DVD+RW (8x), DVD-RW (6x), DVD-ROM (8x), and CD-R/RW/ROM (24x).
For connection to your notebook it has usb connectivity and gets power from sameas well. Plexor describes thisnotebooks as ideal for mobile computing because ofits small size of 15.9mm high and 9 ounces weight.
The product is not yet availablein market and will be available this month with price tag of 170 USD only.
