Acer TM2480 Affordable but Vista Basic

After a launch of Windows vista, everyone is getting after it and trying to provide notebooks which comes prebundeled with it. Recently NewEgg has also offered a ACER TM2480 notebook prebundeled with windows vista. And according to many of the website this the key marketing strategy along with affordable price tag of 540 USD. So where is the catch? The only problem is that it comes with Microsoft Windows Vista basic edition and looking at the comparision of various editions it is most basic and does not have many of vista features.
As such ACER TM2480 is very nice little notebook with 14.1-inch widescreen,Intel 940GML Chipset, Intel GMA 950 graphics, 802.11b/g wireless, 56k modem and LAN connections and 5.3 lbs weight but dont get impressed with price and vista logo.
