Toshiba has recently increased its product line with new model called Qosmio G30 which has some cool features like Intel Core Duo T2600 powered processor, 2048 (1024+1024) MB DDR2 RAM, HDD     240 (120+120) GB, RAID support, Toshiba MK1234,Toshiba TS-L802A HD DVD, read/write CD/DVD, NVIDIA GeForce Go 7600 256 MB PCI Express and 17″ Toshiba TruBrite WXGA TFT.

If you look the design of the notebook it is very slim and lightweight (406×285x45.5..53.5 mm (WxLxH), 4.8 kg) and in that it comes with built in analogue TV tuner , harman kardon speakers and dolby home theater system support and inbuilt card reader.

Digit-Life described as “A couple of years ago there started to appear notebooks that seemed to violate the concept of mobile personal computers at first glance. Large dimensions, weight, and a short battery life are not favorable to real mobile work. Come to think of it, there are different types of mobility, and computers can be used not only for work, but also for entertainment. So, the appearance of notebooks with a wide 20″ panel weighing over eight kilograms is just an evolution of the concept of a multimedia notebook.
Indeed, the real [not personal] multimedia implies a large screen, so a notebook won’t be small. An important peculiarity of modern video materials is high requirements to CPU performance. A gaming model must also possess a fast video card. Add a large volume of memory and RAID with two hard drives. ”
