Samsung SGH-i300 Mobile Phone
April 10th, 2006
The Samsung SGH-i300 mobile phone is fitted with a 3GB hard disc drive. Yes, that’s right. 3GB of memory. What’s the point? Music, mainly. The i300 has 3D stereo loudspeakers and the ability to play most popular types of music file, including MP3, WMA, AAC and OGG. You’re able to store around 1,000 tracks that you can select by using the phone’s intuitive scroll-wheel navigation. The i300 will also play MPEG4 and WMV videos on its high-quality colour screen.
But this is much more than just a multimedia player. It’s a smartphone powered by the Windows Mobile operating system, which means you’ll have email access and the ability to add plenty of new programs. In addition, the large memory allows the phone to be used as a removable disc drive for most computers. If that wasn’t enough, the Samsung SGH-i300 is fitted with a 1.3 megapixel camera with flash - perfect for taking photos and recording video clips.
Samsung SGH- D500 Mobile Phone
April 10th, 2006
The Samsung D500 mobile phone looks very, very good. Not only does the slide-open design stand out from the crowd, but the high-resolution display screen is (quite literally) brilliant. When it’s closed, the sliding keypad keeps the 1.3 megapixel camera and flash hidden away at the back of the phone. Open the spring-loaded slider and you’re ready to take photos or video clips, with a whopping 80MB of built-in memory to save your memories. You can also take advantage of the memory by using the Samsung D500 as a music player, because it’ll store and play MP3 files.

Nokia N70 Smartphone Review by CNET
April 7th, 2006
Latest in N Series from Nokia is N70 and as usual CNET is one of first to review the model. Here is what they have to say “At 126g and measuring 108.8 x 53 x 17.5mm, the N70 is not only the smallest and lightest member in Nokia’s current N-series handsets, it is also slightly more compact than the 6680. More importantly, Nokia has done a good job in improving the overall aesthetics of the phone, giving a matt finish that’s comfortable to hold and a classy metallic bezel around the display and keyboard. The candy-bar phone comes in two colors–Ivory Pearl/Auberg and Silver/Black–which should appeal to both genders.
Like the 6680, the N70 sports a 176 x 208-pixel LCD display that supports up to 262K-colors. The screen is generally sharp and comes with adjustable brightness settings for optimal viewing in daylight conditions.
We like that Nokia has added a spring-loaded sliding cover to protect the camera lens of the onboard 2-megapixel camera. However, the slide action is a little sluggish and could have been made smoother if metallic tracks were used.”
