iRiver had finally started shipping its new media player ” Micky Mouse” which is primarily targeteed to young kids and teenagers. This 60 USD priced cool fancy Media player has gained wide attraction due to its unique design. This cool media player has 30 mm diameter globe weighing 18gms and has 1 Gb of memory space. The features includes support for MP3/WMA/ASF file formats and comes in four different colors. The only disappointing thing is lack of display.

SAFA has recently unveiled its new portable media player with name “V2″. SAFA V2 comes in two different memory size 1 GB and 2 GB. The key features includes its nice 2 inch screen that supports 262K colors and its external speakers. Other features includes support for variety of file formats (MP3, WMA, WAV, AVI), Memory card slot, FM, Voice recorder, games, and image viewer.
Price tag on 1Gb model is 130 USd and on 2Gb model is around 160USD.

Samsung had recently launched its new flash based mp3 player series called Samsung U3 MP3 Players and according to sources it is simplest of all MP3 players of recent world. Key feature will include OLED display with 3 line support, 1/2/4 GB options, support for MP3/AAC/OGG files, and has very long battery life of 15 hrs.
This cool small MP3 player which measures only 25.4×80x11mm is expected to be in market in June 2007 and will have price tag between 80 USD to 150 USD depending on memory size.

MPIO has recently exhibited its latest DAP player called MG100 in one of the electronic gadget exhibition in US and according the first hands on it seems reasonably features player. The features includes LCD color display with 262K colors clarity, 4 GM of memory, FM, variable file support, and very light weight of 42gms only.

Philips GoGear SA6000 Flash Players

Philips has come up with cool new series of its flash MP3 players called Philips GoGear SA6000 Flash Players. Philips has initially launched three models in this range called SA6015, SA6025 and SA6045. Different name is for different memory sizes and they come with 1 GB, 2GB and 4GB respectively. However the cost of 4GB model is somewhat at higher side (128 USD).
Keay features of all three models includes 2.2 ” (320×240 px) LCD scree, a microphone, FM, 15hrs of battery life, support for multiple file formats including JPG and has 10 EQ.

Most awaited model from iRiver called iRiver X20 is already available in US market now and is priced 220 USD. For those who does not know iRiver X20 comes with features like 8GB flash memory, microSD card, 2.2″ 260k color LCD display, support for variety of multimedia file formats, ease of control navigation controls, FM radio and recorder.
Looks wise though not that much attractive but still its size 3.9″ x 1.9″ x 0.6″ is quite reasonably small.

Sony has recently announced that they are coming up with new audio players in walkman series in UK and named it Walkman NW-E01. In size it seems very compact and has equivalent memory size to iPod shuffel. It has OLED on surface with 3 line capability, FM Radio, MP3 and ATRAC files support, Lithium Ion battery to support 28 hrs of playback.
Sony NW-E01 series measures 83 x 23 x 14mm and weighs 28 grams and will have variety of memory options. No price and availability data available.
