Sony’s new HDR-HC7 digital camcorder has gained wide popularity since its launch. Sony HDR-HC7 Digital camcorder is a High Definition Video handycam and uses MiniDV for recording this HD videos. Price Tag: 1399 USD.

Samsung unveils VM-X300 Camcorder

Samsung had recently announced its new camcorder in Korea called VM-X300 Camcorder and according to its announcements Samsung has tried to develop a camcorder specially suited for outdoor acticities and sports. Key features of this camcorder will includes fast startup, rugged finish, mpeg4 recording at 30 fps, 10x optical, 100x digital zoom along with ability to play MP3 files and as of my knowledge this is first one to include multimedia playback functionality in camcorder.
Canon DC50 Camcorder unveiled

Canon has showcased its two new models in digital camcorders with DVD burners called DC22 and DC50 in Photo and Imaging 2007. The key features according to company information includes DIGIC DV engine, 10x optical zoom lens, record directly to DVD and whats more its weighs less than 500 gms.

Canon Presents DC22 Camcorder with DVD burner

In Photo and Imaging 2007 show in Korea, Canon has demonstrated its two new camcorders with DVD burners called Canon DC22 and Canon DC50. The key feature as the name suggests its ability to record the video directly in DVD and other features includes 2 megapixel CCD, 10x optical zoom and along with it also comes with big 1.4 GB inbuilt memory for primary storage function.
Its release date and detailed specs are not available yet but we will keep you updated as soon as we have more information.
