There has been lot of controversies over new Internet surveillance law that may be imposed in Germany and Google also has threatened to stop the GMail service in Germany if this new law is implemented. This new law has some of the strict regulation on Privacy issues and that might stop google from allowing users to use anonymous email addresses.
It is still not confirmed by Google officials but rumors have spread all over the web and there has been cantrast view about this. Few believe that google should stop the service and few believes that Google should follow the rules and regulation of each country and comply with them.
